The real joy in life comes from doing things. Most things start with a dream. But it's excruciatingly painful to get stuck in dream-paralysis. There's an infinite number of fears that can keep you here, and you get stuck - whether it's fear of judgement from others, fear of failure or fear of the unknown, any of these fears can stop you in your tracks.
I'm tired of being stopped in my tracks. I've been incredibly fortunate thus far in my life to make it to where I am today. I'm married to the love of my life and we have a beautiful supportive marriage. I have a challenging yet rewarding job that pushes me to learn new skills. I'm physically fit. I have the means to eat healthy, travel and spend time with my loved ones... but I am constantly longing for more freedom and independence. I am tired of being stuck in this phase where I have a pretty clear objective (build something of my own) but not breaking through to the other side. I am stuck in the dream phase. It's not out of reach, but until I change my behavior, I will be stuck here indefinitely.
I don't want to end my life as a dreamer. I want to look back on my life as a doer.
